| It's been a long time. I have been more busy than I want to be, but things are going okay right now. My Mom is loving living in her new assisted living place. I am starting a new position at work in 23 days. My friend Brenda now has a certified teaching position. I have a busy day coming tomorrow, so I will sign off for now. KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS

| WELL, 2006 WITH ALL OF IT'S EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE IS FINALLY OVER...A FAINT MEMORY...IN THE DISTANT PAST. I WILL TREASURE IT IN SOME WAYS THOUGH. IT WAS THE YEAR WE WELCOMED OUR SWEET LACIE INTO OUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY. OF COURSE THERE WAS A WEDDING TO MAKE THAT A FORMAL ENTRY INTO OUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY. I WILL TREASURE IT AND CURSE IT BECAUSE IT WAS THE LAST YEAR ON EARTH THAT I SPENT TIME WITH MY BEST FRIEND FROM BIRTH FOR 47 YEARS, 11 MONTHS AND 38 DAYS. I WILL TREASURE IT, BECAUSE I MADE CONNECTIONS WITH MY PAST FRIENDS, IN A TIME OF DEEP SORROW THAT WE SHARED. THEY EASED MY MIND THAT LAURA WAS BEING TAKEN CARE OF THE WAY I WOULD TAKE CARE OF HER.....WHEN I WAS ACHING TO BE THERE AND TAKE CARE OF HER MYSELF..........I COULD NOT AFFORD TO BE OFF WORK. BOY THOSE WORDS STING. SHE WOULD HAVE GONE IN DEBT TO BE WITH ME IF SHE SAW IT WAS MY LAST DAYS. PLEASE JUST KEEP US ALL IN YOUR CONSTANT PRAYERS. I DO WELL MOST DAYS. I AM HOPING FOR MOST DAYS TO BECOME ALL DAYS BUT "HER" SPECIAL DAYS. WELCOME 2007. PLEASE BE EMOTIONALLY KIND TO ME AND ALL THOSE I LOVE. | I am in Tennesse as I write this. We had an amazing feast at lunch today. The afternoon has gone quite slowly, with each relative and his or her family departing from Ralph and Sue's house. We are down to one sister and her husband and one of her grandchildren. The Dallas Cowboys game is on in the family room. Sue is starting to get food out again, for those that are getting hungry again. We will take Holly to a brother and sister-in-laws house in a few hours. This will cover two objectives. Get Holly to her bed and meet the nephew's new girlfriend. The last girlfriend was only liked by the very innocent and the nephew. I hear that this one is very sweet and also very good for the nephew! That is what I want to hear. She is also a church-goer. Double points from me! Well, I will move on in to the family room now. Hope you all had a GREAT Turkey Day! 23 Years to this day my sister bore her oldest child. He is celebrating with his father, sister, paternal grandparents, paternal aunt and cousin today. | I am only about 7 days away from seeing Brad, Tyler and Amanda since the week of Laura's funeral. I am looking forward to just relaxing with them and doing fun things. Please continue praying for them all, but especially Brad as he tries to get used to a life without Laura. He never expected to be single at 50 years of age. :( Keep Your Eyes On Jesus Lisa | | |
